Residents, homeowners, employees and members of the wider Blue Bay community are invited to join us for Blue Bay Cleanup Day, organized in collaboration with Kunuku Man Recycle, in the lead-up to World Cleanup Day on September 20.
It’s a morning to make a difference, connect with our community and take pride in the place we call home.
07:00 — Arrival & registration

08:00 – 10:00 — Cleanup
Together, we’ll spread out across different zones of Blue Bay and get to work.
10:00 – 11:00 — Wrap-up & waste collection
We’ll bring everything together, collect the waste and clear the different areas.
11:00 – 12:00 — Community Gathering
Time to relax, connect and enjoy some food and drinks together at Hofi Jacobs.
Why do we start early?
September in Curaçao can be hot, so we’re starting bright and early. This allows us to work comfortably, make the biggest possible impact and finish the cleanup before the heat really sets in. So grab your gloves, bring your energy and join us!
We’ll finish the morning with a relaxed Neighbourhood Day & Community Gathering at Hofi Jacobs. During the gathering, we’ll announce the total weight of the waste collected during the cleanup, and celebrate what we achieved together.

Blue Bay Cleanup Day is more than just a one-day initiative.
We believe that taking care of our environment should become a more structural part of the way we manage and develop our resort. That’s why we are exploring how sustainability can become part of everyday life at Blue Bay.
As part of this journey, we are currently in conversation with Kunuku Man Recycle, an organization focused on collecting and recycling materials such as glass, plastic bottles and aluminum cans.
Their ambition is simple: make better use of our waste streams and prevent valuable materials from ending up in Curaçao’s environment.
